Knew there was something else. The wood pieces around the mirror are slats from pallets. Who needs Building Providers anyway lol.

Hiya, don't forget, if you are gonna give it a bash, (and do, by all means), rabbits burrow, so you gota consider that when building runs etc for them :).

Also completley floored the attic. For this I recomend 'Dulux paint palets'. Reason is they are only slatted on one side and the two support beams 'as I call them' just happen to fit very snugly inside the joists. Because of this I had very little cutting to do. bloody marvelous lol.
have fun Pallet lovers everywhere lol.

You have got to be single !!

Hi Garrazzaband

Why do we scrub pallets with bleach and water before making furniture....I will, of course, do this but curious at to the reason:)
Tks

I do this to clean the wood. It gets rids of any staining and unwanted marks and you generally end up with nicer cleaner looking wood to work with. Also I would argue that it sanitises the wood and kills any unwanted nasties that you might not see with the naked eye. You just never know what some of those pallets have been exposed to and you are bringing it into your home.!!

Obviously if the wood is to be used outside this preparation is probably not needed.

Ps make sure you dry it in a very flat position perhaps turning occasionally to avoid warping!

Good luck with it.

Brilliant thanks - thought the critters might have something to to with it:) I will let you know how I get on....looking forward to exploring the creative side!

I am seriously impressed with your skills. I think you would have to travel a real distance to be challenged in that!
