hi mags, i used a water based gloss in capsicum red, leyland trade paint. i found it messy and took ages to dry. il go back to using water based satin leyland trade next time, much easier to use. the flowers on the glass are a bit lost since i removed the red felt from back of cabinet. :( |

Dear Junkista,
I am seriously impressed with your cabinet overhaul and wonder if you wouldn't mind giving me some tips! I just bought an almost identical cabinet (with flowers on glass and deco glass on lip very similar to yours). I'm a complete novice at this kind of thing. Was thinking I'd need to give light sand, then undercoat and paint, what would you suggest? I don't want to make a mess of it as it really is very sweet and in perfect condition apart from water mark on top. Hope to hear from you! OMC |
