recycling old worn and torn clothes
I am in the middle of some springcleaning at the moment. Sorting out hotpress etc...have found a lot of clothes which are certainly not good enough to give to charity shop but they would be good enough for shredding/recycling. Anyone out there know who I could contact with regard to having them collected or anywhere I could bring them to for shredding? Or any other suggestions as to what to do with them? Thanks for reading my post.

Recycling old worn and torn clothes
Thanks to both of you for your suggestions. Have checked out Leitrim County Councils bring centres and there are two for textiles within a few miles of me so thats great. Will also check with local St. Vincent De Paul shop in Carrick on Shannon to see if they want textiles. Thank you very much for your replies.

recycling clothes
Almost all the charity shops get 4 euro per bag they recycle, they will sort through the clothes to see if there is anything that might sell. Then all the rest can go into the bags they get money for, hope that helps you!!
