Hazardous waste collection query, Cork City
 

Hello,

Does anybody happen to know the date and whereabouts of the next Cork City Council household hazardous waste collection? I can't find anything on their website. I think the council may put it into the public notices page of the Echo, but we rarely buy it.

We have bottles and tins of assorted toxic liquids including paint, acidic cleaning fluids, old varnish, oils etc. As we don't have a garage to store it in, it has been kept in an old discarded fridge in the backyard which we want out of the way to make space for plant pots. Many of the tins have corroded so it's not even possible to open them. I also worry about the fumes and which are no doubt slowly seeping out'.
