Side board from Snowdaisy / Sk8r_boi
Hi,
I got this side board from Snowdaisy a few years ago and have finally done it up to match my room. It was originally the bottom half of a dresser. It had alot of scuffs and damage to one of the corners so I sanded it all down and used filler on the corner. I used wood dye to stain it dark to match my other furniture and gave it an outline of black. The original knobs were brass so I soaked them in lemon juice and shone them up :) Then Sk8r_boi had given me some manga books a while back and one was in Japanese which I can't read but I knew it would come in handy. I cut out the pages and attached them with spray mount to line the drawers and unit and varnished a few times. And voila my perfect side board inspired as ever by Jumble Town :) |
