And I will have what bluecurlygirl is havin We will get drunk and have a ball Will have to be careful not to fall We are all JT addicts, loyal and true We love being here and having a goo We will all party and have a good time And perhaps have a peek online We will dance the night away Until the sun comes up on a new day Then we will take to the bed With headache tablets for the head bluecurlygirl will lead the show New people she wants to know We will have to wear a badge with our name Worn with pride and not with shame The badge will say "I am a JumbleTowner" I am never on a downer My JT friends are the best They recycle all the time and never rest |

Don't despair - help is near
Oh those who read this thread know the story well,
logged in through the night until the dawn chorus knells Cos the crack is going ninety and the slaggin is alarming And the wisecracks and the poetry are really very charming. The restoration projects whether big or small Are a source of amazement, inspiration and awe. The bmw, the boat, the hats, the quilt - far too many to mention And I hope those skilled folks are eternally proud of their wonderful creations. The craft links are deadly - magiceight you are to blame for my children sometimes being neglected & my house it is a shame... but thanks to you and to all the jters who jumped to my assistance With crafty links, projects & instructions to decorate my house for Christmas (I know it doesn't rhyme - poetic licence ok?!) And the wonderful advice on living green - who could miss out on that? Whether you want your bins filling slower or your compost going great (poetic thingimy again) Tips on ways to help yourself strive towards self-sufficiency and yes that includes a way to make your own electricity. As well as all the above-mentioned traits there is also the green tube Which keeps us amused for several hours - in fact it'd have you glued. There's nothing better than sitting back with all the lights on dim Watching and hearing how beautiful our planet is in that little piece of film. And of course it's always nice to get something on here too or give something away to someone who needs it way way more than you. And to meet a fellow jter is always really exciting because the community here is full of cheer and sound so inviting. The community here go out of their way to get something to somebody else In fact in several cases they're a postal relay service in themselves! The spirit of the members in something really special And the friends you make along the way - even if they're virtual. Well the time has come to make a stand and stand I certainly will For being addicted to jumbletown gives me such a thrill. And if being addicted to jumbletown is a serious "illness" then I hope that it turns out to be something contagious. And so I come to the point of my ditty (and please excuse it if it wasn't too witty!!) That the time for action is coming near For all jumbletowners to say loud and clear "We're jumbletown addicts and proud to be here" And so a meeting is being arranged for a weekend Towards the end of the summer - probably late August weekend (exact date to follow) For any jumbletowners who want to be virtual friends no more A party will be had and you can shake your shimmy on the floor. And you can wear a badge, a hat or a crafty thing or two And maybe let us guess who you are from some little "clue" And I'd love to meet as many of you as I can before I go to African Skies And have some fun and frolics and basically the time of our lives! |

Party
There's a party in Belturbet
for all Jumbletown addicts... It will be a blast There's no doubt about it. To Bluecurlygirl, we can say "Bon Voyage" as she sails to adventure 'neath African skies. We will meet other addicts who surf night and day and maybe we'll meet CHRIS P and DAVE!!! |
