Hi Maria,
My wife was laughing at me saying that I was showing my age when I told her I saw one of these on a BBC show back in the 70's!! I would imagine that a briquette would take up to 2 weeks to dry out but I have never done it. The conditions of where you are drying them is important. I have burned some commercial paper briquettes here and they throw out great heat when they are properly made. We generate a lot of shredded paper waste at work and it breaks my heart to see it. I would be very interested in trying it, once I know it did not damage the environment. The best of luck to you Maria - let me know how you get on. D |
