I too use vinegar for descaling everything!
But can you find vinegar here in Ireland that is more acidic than 5%? In my home country the food stores sell etiher 12% or 24%, and the latter is superb for cleaning. Much better than any expensive and chemical filled bathroom cleaner. If anyone knows where to find it here, please point me in the right direction! If you want to descale a shower head, you can pour vinegar into a plastic bag and tie it around the showerhead. It really takes away any limescale blockage. |

Ask at your local fish and chip shop. Many chippers make their own vinegar from concentrate. I'm sure they could make you a bottle of concentrated vinegar, if you ask nicely and explain what you're doing with it. Vinegar is acidic and can be very dangerous if not used correctly. |
