Default Kitchen Storage

Delighted at long last to put something in this section!!

The first is a kitchen storage cupboard made from wardrobe doors which were actually the first thing collected from Jumbletown. We made the sides of the cupboard from tongue & groove timber and painted it cream to match the kitchen cupboards a set of new handles et voila! Its great for the hoover and the ironing board and hanging coats.

The second is another kitchen cupboard. When we replaced the kitchen we had just one sturdy carcase left over from the old one. We put it on the opposite wall, bought 2 doors in a sale at B&Q that matched the new cupboard doors an offcut of worktop and 2 shelves over it made from 2 drop down leaves of a white melamine topped table. Its great for the extra work surface and you can never have enough kitchen cupboards!!

Default Storage,

Hi Sparkwell, lovely job! Glad to see you think outside the box too (shelves from table etc). Sometimes I think I am the only mad one around--glad to have company.LOL Well done, Eibhlin

Great job Sparkwell. That's something I could do with - a cupboard for storing ironing board (that's hardly used - I believe in 'folding')and for the sweeping brush. You've done a really professional job and it looks wonderful. Irene

Thanks everyone for all your nice comments especially from the seasoned 'Before & After' people you have all inspired me.
You are right about repuposing Eibhlin I definitely get more satisfaction from thinking outside the box.
Yep Pepperpixie my famous Actifry now has its own special place on the worktop its as it should be!!!
I believe in folding too Irene at least if the ironing board is out of sight it is out of mind!!
