Treatment of Persistent Weeds
Hi, I have a problem with weeds (see photo) that keep re-appearing in spite of me regularly treating the affected areas with weed killer. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Many thanks.

Getting rid of persistent weeds
They seem to be around some stones, just pour hot water on them and it's safer than weed killer. My neighbour always poured the water from cooking her vegetables over the weeds on her path

Havent tried it myself but im told 10 parts white vinegar to 1 part washing up liquid 20 parts water sprayed on a sunny day should help. The sun is important!

I also agree that the sun is important but if used properly. Constant sun rays may also do some harm to both important flowers and unwanted weeds. By the way, for the aforementioned weeds, I recommend everyone using cordless string trimmers like this https://electrogardentools.com/p/bes...the-best-ones/, hope it helps. |
