Default wheelie bin to coal bunker????

Hi All, Just got a solid fuel stove installed now need somewhere to store coal. Have a spare wheelie bin seems to fit the bill cut a flap at the bottom any ideas how to kerp it closed to keep out furry visiters. Please need ideas to make it work. Thanks in advance.

Default Wheelie bin

Get two pieces of wood with a groove in at the side and screw them to the wheelie bin then get a piece if tin and screw a knob or handle to it then slot it into the wood and you have a door to slide up when you want your coal and your furry friends can't get in.
