Though "Add to Buddy List" is still listed as one of the options when you click on a User's Name, it seems that the actual "Buddy List" feature was disabled by the developers of JumbleTown when they were customising the Board/site. The "Buddy List" is usually accessible in the "Miscellaneous" section of the User CP (Control Panel), which is located on the left hand side of the dark blue bar beneath the log-in box. Only "[View Your] Attachments" remains in this section now. However, you should still be able to see when your Buddies are on-line -- they'll have a plus sign (+) after their names in the "Currently Active Users" section at the bottom of the Home Page. not aware of this feature at all . thanks chris
hi chris,
thanks a million for your advice, i have to say have never even seen the user control panel before and i have used this site many many times... about the control panel actually i have seen that you can view your subscribed threads. is there any way to change the notification of the threads you are subrcibed to from instant to none ? i would like to do this for a lot of the threads i have as i would be more often on the website checking rather than logged in my personal email ( so emails pile up and by the time i open the box i have about 50 unread notification emails ) thanks cascais |

To unsubscribe to threads, click on the User CP button, and then choose "Edit Options." You can choose to unsubscribe there in the "Messaging & Notification." Also: check out the "Subscribed Threads" section in the User CP for more options and features. Regards Chris P Admin |
