from pallet to fence....almost finished
Hi, I've been wrecking my head the last year over all the pallets that go to waste at my work and what i could do with them. So i started a few projects and this is one of them, a fence and gate (made from 3 pallets) for at the side of the house. It's near completion now, just a few holes left to dig for the posts and clean off the hinges but i thought i post it anyways for anyone who's interested in maybe doing something similar.

They look fantastic. I note that you are going to put them into the ground. I think you would need to use some sort of preservative on them to prevent them rotting.

Many thanks for your kind responses.
this was the first time i tried a fence and i did take note about treating the posts before they went into the ground. done a few other things before with pallets for some friends, a bench, raised beds and the likes. the next project will be a small storage shed for my boys toys |
