Default Upcycling a Slip to a Dress

My niece wanted wanted a one off dress for a vintage themed summer picnic event so she came to me (can't think why) for ideas. Of course I ended up making it for her, having been given a detailed brief as to what it should look like.

With the recession and green thinking lots of people are upcycling, reconstructing something they already have. which is a fabulous idea.

Here is the before and after of the old slip I revamped for her.

Default slip to dress

Hi Pam, wonderful needlework as usual and I love your photographic effect--the reflection in the mirror is really striking, Eibhlin.
