recycling ink cartridges?
Hi, maybe this question's been asked before but am looking for somewhere that recycles/reuses inkjet cartridges. I know the Jack and Jill Foundation were doing it for a while but they were only taking certain makes...me and my workplace have a fair few Epson/Canon/Lexmark on an ongoing basis. Any ideas?

I found a great place facing the Skylon Hotel in Drumcondra. I just bring my used printer cartridges there and they refill them. Quite reasonable too.

I don't think the Jack and Jill Foundation specify which ones they want or don't want.. the website says "empty Inkjet Laser and Fax Toner cartridges" so perhaps you could give Folamh (collection company for J & J) a call on 1850 525 545 and check. Email address is jenny@folamh.com . I'm a big supporter of J & J! mrsl |

Ink Cartridges
Hi,
Tesco have a recycling scheme for cartridges/mobile phones. However, they do not accept Epson. They have special envelopes available instore/ from 1800 933 616 or www.tesco.ie. Funds generated by recycled items are donated to the Make a Wish Foundation or alternatively, you can have points added to your Tesco Clubcard for each item recycled. Hope this helps. Bibi. |

You can now drop off your used or empty laser and inkjet cartridges at all Officeworks and JB HiFi stores and participating Australia Post, Dick Smith, The Good Guys and Harvey Norman outlets. Inkjet cartridges, toner cartridges and toner bottles from participating brands (Brother, Canon, Epson, HP, Konica Minolta, Kyocera and Lexmark) are accepted. This includes cartridges used in printers, photocopiers and fax machines.
