fabric softner
i heard that hair conditioner could be used for fabric softner and vise versa any one tried this of heard the same would be intrested to know

Softener
The best one I have ever tried is white vinegar, 2 capfuls in the final rinse and they dont come out smelly like a chippie, but makes towels feel softer. Bernie

Fabric
Hair conditioner in the washing machine yes you can. I have tried it but you need to dilute it first because it wont break down in the was if it is to thick. As for the fabric softner I saw an article about it and they asked a well know hairdresser for his opinion on it. He says if you run out of conditioner by all means use non perfumed like lenor white. But not to use it all the time because it was never meant for hair. Bernie

I have always used VO5 condtioner for my jumpers and cardigans
