Garden furniture
In January I answered a post from Teapea for garden furniture. On a cold, frosty, snowy saturday morning we drove to Bray to collect the furniture. It was one of the first things I had got from JT and my husband thought I was mad as we struggled with numb hands to dismantle an A frame for a swing seat and folded the table and sun-lounger. We brought them home and left them out in the wind, rain and eventually sun and they dried out. I managed to restore the sun-lounger and table but sadly the swing seat was beyond repair (even for me, and I am pretty good at restoration). Anyway we used the wood for raised beds and firewood. The before photo is the items as they landed on the patio in January and the after as they are now. I also acquired a padded cushion from my Mum which I put on the lounger if rain is not forecast, and three folding chairs from a friend to complete the patio. So thanks Teapea for letting us have them. Eibh.
