Helpful sites & tips
Just a thought. There are a lot of wonderful links on different threads here. Would it be possible to get them all under one thread with a short description of what each one refers to. It might make it easy for anyone looking to refer back to the great links left by other jt'rs. I found a few great ones last night but had to trawl a bit to find them again this morning to pass them on to friends.
I've re-named the post so anyone with wonderful tips out there can post them up. Found one the other night about environmentally friendly cleaning agents and I'm gonna copy it up here with permission of the poster of course. Feel free to add on. |

Recovering lampshades
Found this for someone looking to get rid of a lampshade. Suggested that she do it up if she doesn't find a taker and when searching the net this is what I got. So pretty that I thought I'd share it with the rest of ye.

The programme takes place over a two year period and focuses on four main theses of Waste, Energy, Water and Transport.

re-usable nappies

It's a great site for getting re-usable cloth nappies. And they are great, trust me, have been using them for nearly 8 months and I think I will be able to use them with the next baby, too. Only the waterproof panties have to be replaced, as they wear out with the washing. After absolutely used up, the nappies can be re-used as stuffing for cushions or just cleaning rags. Regards, p |
