Hi slaty, you're not giving this away, are you? If so may I have it please? (I thought I'd ask just in case!) it's going to be beautiful when up cycled. Good luck with it.

dresser for Upcycling
Firstly the scrolled pattern at the top has to go and the handles . The drawer fronts will be slate . The colour will be distressed ivory . I may make some other changes ,old cup hooks wood slips on the shelves to hold the plates or maybe a plate rack.

It will be lovely. Nice china handles would look lovely. In a nice colour to stand out against the ivory/white.

I think the scrolled top is very nice, I'm surprised it has 'to go'. |

Hi Slaty, beautiful piece of furniture. I'm planning on doing one of these up myself. Thinking of experimenting with "chalk" paint in a distressed look. Definitely wouldn't get rid of scrolled top as i think it adds character to it. You should have a look at Pinterest. Brilliant site with great ideas for upscaling old furniture. Don't forget to put your usual progress pics. Would love to see them.
